MarsOMars is an independent, enthusiast-run guide to Mars, spaceflight, and the night sky. It exists for one simple reason: the Red Planet is worth looking at — through a telescope, on a launch pad, or in the data streaming back from the robots we've sent there.
What you'll find here
- Launch schedule — upcoming spaceflight launches, refreshed daily from launch-tracking data.
- Space news — headlines from space agencies and space journalism, updated every morning.
- Eclipse finder — pick any of 1,500+ cities and see your next solar and lunar eclipses with local times.
- Field notes — original guides and explainers: skywatching calendars, eclipse-chasing briefings, and the stories behind the missions.
- Kids' corner — hand-picked space resources for young explorers.
Who runs it
MarsOMars is run by Sas, a space enthusiast who would rather spend clear nights outside with a telescope than just about anywhere else. Everything editorial on the site is written by a human; the launch and news sections are assembled automatically each morning from public data feeds.
Independence
MarsOMars is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by NASA, ESA, JPL, STScI, or any other space agency or company. Agency and mission names are used for identification only. Advertising on the site is clearly labeled and never influences editorial content.
